The fawkeZ codebase contains more than the four main building blocks. This page collects the modules that did not have a page of their own in the original wiki.
Code generators
- Simple types. The simple types generator turns XML declarations into type safe enumerations, restricted strings, restricted longs, fix point numbers and value objects.
- CMPGEN. Generators that allow type mappings for J2EE entity beans.
- Service framework. A framework for J2EE applications with generators for base service classes, deployment descriptors and documentation.
- Logging. An exception and logging concept with generators for Java code and documentation, based on JSR47.
Database
- SQL parser and scanner. A parser and scanner for SQL text.
- DBView. A database inspection helper.
Servlets
A small set of servlet helpers was part of the 1.x codebase. The 2.0.0 line keeps only the frequently used features, so some of these modules are no longer part of the release.
Other experiments
- Chart2D. An XML interface for the chart library used by the summary report.
- Java archive instrumentation. Archive instrumentation using JCoverage, used to measure coverage in builds that did not run a dedicated coverage agent.
Scope note
The original page listed several of these modules with question marks, because their status was uncertain at the time. This page keeps only the modules that are described elsewhere in the project and does not claim a release status for them.
